Terms governing purchases and services

Welcome to LastingPC. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchases of products or enquiries about services through our website.

By accessing our website, placing an order or submitting an enquiry, you agree to the terms applicable to your use of the website and the relevant transaction. Nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under applicable law.

1. About LastingPC

LastingPC supplies laptops, computer accessories and related technology products. We may also receive enquiries about laptop repairs, website development and other technology services.

2. Product descriptions, condition and specifications

We aim to describe our products accurately and provide relevant information about their specifications, condition, functionality and included accessories.

Customers should review the individual product listing before ordering.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, used laptops may show signs of previous use, including cosmetic wear consistent with their advertised condition.

Product specifications, including processor model, RAM, storage capacity, display features, battery condition, operating system and included accessories, will be as stated in the relevant listing or otherwise confirmed in writing.

Images are intended to represent the product but may not show every cosmetic detail. Where an image is illustrative rather than a photograph of the exact unit, this should be made clear where material.

We will not knowingly misrepresent a product’s condition, specifications or material characteristics.

3. Prices, availability and stock changes

Prices are displayed in Nigerian naira unless otherwise indicated.

Prices, promotions and stock availability may change before an order is accepted. We will not retrospectively change an agreed order price without an appropriate basis and the customer’s agreement where required.

Many laptops and accessories are available in limited quantities. A product appearing on the website does not guarantee that it remains in stock at the moment an order is placed.

If an item becomes unavailable after an order is submitted or paid for, we will contact the customer to discuss an appropriate resolution, which may include a refund or another option agreed by the customer.

Any delivery charges or other applicable fees will be communicated or displayed before the order is finalised.

4. Orders, acceptance and cancellation

Submitting an order is a request to purchase the selected products.

An automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that LastingPC has accepted the order or verified payment.

An order may be reviewed for stock availability, payment confirmation, delivery feasibility, suspected fraud or material pricing errors.

We may decline or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason, including unavailability, an unresolved payment issue, a genuine listing error or suspected fraudulent activity, subject to applicable law.

If payment has already been received for an order that LastingPC cannot fulfil, we will arrange an appropriate refund in accordance with applicable law and our refund procedures.

Customers who wish to cancel an order should contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation after dispatch or fulfilment may be subject to the applicable returns policy and consumer rights.

We will not use this section to avoid obligations arising from an accepted order or to remove mandatory consumer protections.

5. Payment and verification

Available payment methods may include Paystack and bank transfer, as displayed at checkout.

Orders requiring payment will be processed after the payment has been verified. A screenshot, transfer receipt or payment notification alone may not be sufficient confirmation that funds have been received.

Customers must provide accurate payment and order information. We may delay dispatch while investigating an incomplete, reversed, disputed or unverified payment.

Payment processing may be subject to the terms of the relevant payment provider.

6. Delivery, returns, warranty and store pickup

Delivery areas, delivery charges, estimated delivery times, eligible returns, refund procedures, laptop warranty coverage and store-pickup arrangements are governed by our separate policy pages.

These policies form part of the information governing your purchase and should be read together with these Terms.

Where the individual product listing or invoice expressly provides a different warranty duration, that stated duration applies to the relevant product, subject to applicable law.

The applicable warranty duration must be stated clearly before purchase. The separate policy pages should be kept consistent with the warranty displayed on the product listing or invoice.

Delivery times are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise. Customers must provide an accurate delivery address and accessible contact details.

Store pickup is available only when offered and confirmed by LastingPC.

Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or improperly supplied goods.

7. Customer responsibilities

• Provide accurate contact, billing, delivery and order information.
• Use valid payment methods and cooperate with reasonable payment verification.
• Protect your account credentials.
• Use the website lawfully and not attempt to compromise its security.
• Avoid submitting fraudulent orders, false claims or misleading information.
• Follow reasonable instructions for delivery, collection, product inspection, returns and warranty claims.
• Respect the intellectual property and lawful rights of LastingPC and third parties.

Customers should back up important data before handing a device over for diagnosis, repair or other technical work.

8. Website development and repair-service enquiries

Customers may use the website to enquire about website development, laptop repairs, diagnostics, maintenance or related services.

Submitting an enquiry does not automatically create a service contract, confirm a booking or establish a fixed price or completion date.

Any agreed service scope, quotation, deposit, payment schedule, delivery timeline, warranty and other material terms should be confirmed separately in writing before work begins.

Repair services may require physical inspection before a fault, cost or completion time can be determined.

For website development, the parties should agree on the project scope, deliverables, payment milestones, responsibilities, hosting or third-party costs and maintenance arrangements before work begins.

Any specific written service agreement takes precedence over general website descriptions to the extent of an inconsistency, subject to applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including its branding, original text, graphics, layout and other materials, is owned by LastingPC or used with appropriate permission.

You may browse the website and use its content for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.

You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, commercially exploit or modify protected website content without permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party names, trademarks, product images and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

10. Website availability and security

We aim to keep the website available and functioning properly, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

Maintenance, hosting problems, software updates, technical failures or circumstances beyond our control may temporarily affect availability.
